Cross-border tourism survey

NSW Cross-Border Commissioner James McTavish said the responses will guide his advocacy efforts.

“As the NSW Cross-Border Commissioner, I’m aware that meeting the regulatory requirements of two states can impact your business operations and costs,” Mr McTavish said.

“As part of our work in the Office of the NSW Cross-Border Commissioner we want to know more about these impacts, especially in the tourism industry.

“The information we collect in this survey will help us improve the regulatory system in both New South Wales and Victoria, and advocate for changes that reduce those additional costs.

“We’re also looking to increase opportunities for businesses that provide services across the border, including in attracting investment.”
