Deadline extended for Tiny Towns Fund

Grants of between $5000 and $50,000 are on offer for ‘tiny towns’ to deliver quality tourism and community facility projects, such as splash parks and bike trails, playgrounds, community hall and library upgrades, public art and more.

“The Tiny Towns program is all about helping families and communities to connect by creating facilities and spaces that encourage pride in place,” Development Victoria and Precincts Minister Harriet Shing said.

Regional Development Minister Jaclyn Symes announced on Tuesday, February 3 that applications for round three of the $20 million fund would now close at 4pm on Wednesday, March 4.

“These past weeks have seen great heartbreak and destruction across our regions, so we’re extending the Tiny Towns funding application period to give regional communities more time to finalise their applications,” Ms Symes said.
