State Member for Euroa Annabelle Cleeland is hosting sessions at her office at 25 Bridge St East.
Representatives from AgBiz Assist will be on hand to guide applicants through the process and answer any questions.
There will be two sessions from 10am to 3pm, on Tuesday, September 16 and Thursday, September 18.
“The process for applying for these grants has unfortunately been difficult for many in our community, and too many eligible farmers have been unable to access this much-needed support,” Ms Cleeland said.
State Member for Euroa Annabelle Cleeland’s office will welcome farmers and primary producers looking for assistance applying for drought relief, on two dates in September.
“While our farmers deserve far more, these grants can help get some money back on projects relating to water infrastructure, stock containment, fodder and grain storage, water carting and pasture re-seeding.
“I encourage anyone who meets the eligibility requirements to come along and get the help they need to lodge their application.”
Applicants must derive at least half of their income from a primary production business or generate more than $75,000 a year from primary production.
“These grants are designed to support farmers through challenging times, and I want to make sure everyone who is eligible has the opportunity to access them,” Ms Cleeland said.
