Echuca power outage affects 2500 homes

A representative from Powercor said the outage was caused by various issues following severe windy conditions.

According to the Bureau of Meteorology, residents across western and central Victoria experienced strong northwest to westerly winds averaging 50 to 60km/h, with damaging gusts up to 100 km/h.

Power was restored to the remaining homes at around 7pm on Wednesday, October 22.
