Emergency services work to clean up Warranbayne after storm damage

Roads closed: Emergency services are working to clean up the Warrenbayne area following damage caused by last night’s storm (January 3).

SES has confirmed several roads remain closed in the Warrenbayne and Swanpool areas and has asked the public to contact them if they require assistance.

The message comes after severe storms occurred in the area yesterday (January 3).

Several roads remain closed due to fallen trees and storm debris.

There is no ongoing threat to communities from severe weather at this time.

Emergency services will continue to operate in the area throughout the day, responding to requests for assistance, clearing trees and assessing roads for safety.

Roads may remain closed while safety assessments are undertaken.

If you require additional assistance due to the impacts of the storm, you can attend the Warrenbayne Hall from 1pm if it is safe to do so or call 132 500 for SES assistance if you cannot travel to the Hall.
