The team at Estia Benalla was dressed in all things purple on Tuesday, June 15 to mark World Elder Abuse Awareness Day.
An Estia spokesperson said this was such an important cause and many people may not be aware of it.
“Estia Benalla are committed to safeguarding the rights and respecting the dignity of their residents,” the spokesperson said.
“Although the day was not just about the recognition of the cause, the residents always enjoy seeing the staff dress up in coloured casual clothes and enjoy the effort that they put in.”
