A BTC spokesperson said one of the cast members is Leigh Johnson, who plays Franklin Hart Jr, the horrible boss, who gets his comeuppance.
“This is Leigh’s first production with BTC but not his first time on stage, having performed numerous times with Shepparton Theatre Arts Group and other companies,” the spokesperson said.
“Hart’s most ardent fan is his personal assistant Roz, played by Debbie Patterson.
“Debbie, a long-time member of the company, is really enjoying the opportunity to take on a different role.
“Also returning to the stage this year is Lachy McNair, who is showing his acting versatility playing two roles of Joe and Dwayne, as does Jim Tullberg, playing Dick and a police detective.
“The musical is set in an office and some of the cast playing secretaries are Emily Snell as Maria, Dianne Feldtmann as Kathy and director Molly Craig taking on the role of Margaret.
“All three are having a great time with these their characters.
“Funny, moving, vibrant and filled with music written by Dolly Parton, 9 to 5 The Musical runs over two weekends from June 27 to July 5.”
