FCJ College is already looking towards 2022 with the appointment of its captains and vice-captains for 2022.
Principal Shaun Mason said he was proud to announce Ben Milner and Matilda Berry would be the school captains and Finn Walsh and Ella Ogden would be vice-captains.
“They will lead the college assembly every term,” Mr Mason said.
“They are student leaders and will also be ambassadors for the school at community events.
“They will also meet weekly with myself and our deputy principal where we will have robust conversations about school operations, and also things that impact directly on the kids.
“Those meetings are also an opportunity to learn some leadership skills that they can take into the workplace.”
Mr Mason said it was a great honour to be named on the student leadership team and he wished Ben, Matilda, Finn and Ella the good luck for the coming year.
“I really look forward to working alongside them, and learning from them as they have a lot to offer,” he said.
