This year’s graduating class embodies resilience, generosity and courage, qualities that have enriched the school community and inspired those around them.
The college has proudly congratulated its 2025 VCE Dux, Sophie Hammond (ATAR 89.5).
Sophie’s dedication to learning has been an inspiration.
She hopes to pursue her passion for the natural world by studying Marine Biology, a pathway that reflects her curiosity, commitment and love of science.
The school has also acknowledged its runner-up dux, Caitlin Crowe (ATAR 82.15), celebrating her outstanding academic achievement.
Caitlin is aspiring to study occupational therapy, a field that aligns with her compassion, determination and desire to support others.
FCJ College is also celebrating Chloe Jacobs, its VCE Vocational Major Dux for 2025.
Chloe is enrolled in the allied health course at GOTAFE Wangaratta for 2026, reflecting her passion for hands-on learning, service and community engagement.
Her dedication to the VM pathway and her commitment to contributing meaningfully to the wellbeing of others exemplifies the strengths of vocational education at FCJ College.
This year, FCJ has delighted in celebrating the wonderfully diverse pathways its students are now embracing:
- Luke Snell has been accepted into the Australian Defence Force – Air Force, fulfilling a long-held ambition and demonstrating the discipline and courage that reflect the best of our college community.
- Meg Cooke has secured a position as a camp activity assistant in the UK through the gap year organisation Letz Live. She is excited to embark on this life-changing adventure.

These students, and many others, have secured early university offers, apprenticeships, full-time employment or vocational training opportunities.
Principal Joseph Mount spoke proudly of the graduating class, emphasising that its achievements reflect FCJ College’s core values.
He said every young person’s pathway – whether academic, vocational, creative or service-oriented – is celebrated and supported.
“FCJ College warmly congratulates all Year 12 students of 2025, celebrating not only what they have achieved but who they have become,” Mr Mount said.
“As they move into further study, employment or new opportunities, we send them forward with gratitude, confidence and our heartfelt best wishes.
“Their contributions to our community have been a blessing, and we look forward to watching them continue to flourish.”
