Festival comes to life

The Tyakuwala Festival was a sea of colour and cultural music and dance in the Waring Gardens on Saturday.

The festival kicked off at 10am and the crowd was starting to gather, finding shade and a seat to take in the wonderful cultural experience that was about to take place.

Whether you were camped under the beautiful trees or seated under one of the spacious tents you had a perfect vantage point to see all that was on show.

You could also take a stroll to grab a bite to eat or visit one of the interactive displays.

Visitors from Bendigo and Melbourne joined the many locals who turned out in support of the event.
