The feedback period will close on Wednesday, May 28.
Benalla Mayor Bernie Hearn is urging the community to take this opportunity to help shape the final budget and plan by sharing their thoughts and insights.
“The feedback we receive from you is critical,” Cr Hearn said.
“It ensures the proposed 2025-26 budget and draft Revenue and Rating Plan reflect the needs and aspirations of our community.
“Whether you're a resident, a local business, or part of a community group, your voice matters. This is your chance to help shape the decisions that affect us all.”
The proposed budget and rating plan outline the council’s planned initiatives, services and financial priorities for the coming financial year as well as the broader 2025-29 period.
Community feedback will directly influence the final documents, which are scheduled for adoption after the consultation period.
“The future of our community is something we all have a stake in,” Cr Hearn said.
“Your feedback helps us plan for a stronger, more vibrant Benalla Rural City that benefits everyone.”
