The Benalla Travel Fashions on the Field is on Friday.

Arguably the biggest event of the day, apart from the running of the Gold Cup, the race for best dressed will surely come down to a photo finish.

Dressing up ‘in classic race wear’ has always been part of the fun and, for those more serious about the event, an opportunity to win fabulous travel prizes.

Benalla Travel will award vouchers to the value of $1000 to the winner of the ‘Classic Ladies Race Wear’ category and to the ‘Classic Men’s Race Wear’ winner.

Competitors set the bar high in 2022 when the Benalla Travel Fashions on the Field returned for the first time since 2019.

Jane Grech won the prize for the best-dressed lady, with a matching floral dress and fascinator combination.

John Finau won the best-dressed male category, with a fashionable grey jacket and beige chinos.

While fashionistas will be looking to take out these top events, there are more chances to get your hands on a prize.

With awards going to the best-dressed couple, best-dressed tot and best-dressed juniors, anyone could claim an award.
