This weekend saw the Auskickers welcome Benalla All Blacks to our centre.

The footballers and netballers each took an activity to help the Auskickers work on their skills whether it be picking the ball up as quick and smoothly as possible or concentrating on hitting the target with their kicks or handballing.
The seven-to-10-year-old girls had a focused session run by Darren Skelton and assisted by parents and Col Patterson from the All Blacks.
The girls really enjoyed their session and put what they practised into action in the game.
The number of parents filling in for coaches was great.
We all appreciated the extra assistance and the fact that parents are willing to step in and help out is something positive for our centre.
The new nine and 10-year-old program continued this week, allowing the players in the two age groups to show confidence and skill development.
Players are certainly enjoying the opportunity to try something different and challenge themselves.
We must thank Rick Willet and Chris Cooney who have umpired the games so far. Both have been encouraging the players with a bit of extra coaching and encouragement while umpiring.
As usual we witnessed a lot of great sportsmanship again this week, with players sharing the ball and allowing opponents an opportunity to get a touch.
Please remember it is school holidays — we have this weekend off and return on Saturday, July 13. Happy holidays to you all.
Auskickers of the week:
●Riley McCarthy. Being an all-ability Auskick centre, we all appreciate seeing great sportsmanship and last week Riley not only helped another player from the opposition team score a goal, but he helped that player grow in confidence.
●Lochie Johnson showed great resilience in bouncing back from a football hitting him in the face. He consistently shares the ball and tries hard every week.
