Campaspe Shire Council’s 2026 SPARK – Arts & Cultural Grants Program will open for the next round of applications on October 1, offering up to $10,000 for creative projects across the shire.
This initiative empowers local art and theatre groups to stage grander productions, offering residents a unique chance to immerse themselves in exceptional homegrown talent.
The grant offers support for an array of creative projects, spanning from art exhibitions and theatre productions to shows of digital arts and cultural practices.
Mayor Daniel Mackrell said arts and culture were a vital part of the shire.
“This grant helps celebrate the creative heart of Campaspe,” Cr Mackrell said.
“It’s about investing in local talent and creating opportunities for our artists and communities to thrive.”
The applications open on October 1 and close at 5pm on Friday, November 7.
The projects must be delivered within Campaspe Shire between January 5 and November 27, 2026.
“Whether you’re an emerging artist, a creative collective, or a community group working on something special — we want to hear from you,” Cr Mackrell said.
Successful applicants will be notified by Friday, December 19.
All applicants are strongly encouraged to contact council’s arts and culture team before applying to discuss their project ideas and check eligibility.
