The image, a trigger to some, an inspiration to others, was always a temporary installation - painted as part of the Window to Window Festival.
Whether you love it or hate it's difficult to deny that it has created a lot of attention.
The image was kept about a week longer than originally anticipated following a graffiti attack, however council are now removing it.
There was a community effort to save the painting with the Benalla Sustainable Future group lobbying council to keep it up - however their efforts were in vain.
