Classrooms gathered non-perishable food, Christmas decorations, and toiletries, which were packed into hampers and delivered to Vinnies this month.
In total, twelve baskets overflowing with festive goods were donated.
Coordinator Tina Pisasale said the generosity was warmly received.
“Daphne Greaves and all of the Vinnies members were again very appreciative of our efforts, and continually grateful for all the support our school gives the St Vincent de Paul organisation,” Ms Pisasale said.
“Our contributions are given to families in need to help them with their Christmas celebrations, and to make their Christmas that little bit brighter.”
The school’s annual hamper appeal coincides with the national St Vincent de Paul Christmas Appeal.
It recognises that for families who are struggling to survive from one day to the next, Christmas can be an especially challenging time.
Many cannot afford a special meal or gifts for their children, with rent and utility bills weighing heavily.
Donations to the Christmas Appeal help ease this pressure by providing food, clothing, and financial assistance to cover essentials such as rent, electricity, and medicines.
