Benalla Saints are awaiting the day its players and supporters can return to the Benalla Showgrounds to enjoy football and netball.
In a post to Facebook, the club said while nobody could have predicted the challenges 2020 would throw up, it was looking forward to the 2021 season under the helm of senior coach Jake Pallpratt.

The returning premiership player was gearing up for his maiden season in charge this year.
But with a two-year-deal in place, Pallpratt will return to build upon the work done last pre-season ahead of next year's Goulburn Valley League season.
Roaming Rocky unleashed
Move over Brian Taylor . . . a roaming Tom Rockliff has shown off his media credentials after taking over the post-game interviews this week.
Following Port Adelaide's win over Essendon on Saturday, Roaming Rocky took to Port's change rooms with a microphone to bail up some of his teammates for a yarn.
Among the line-up was Scott Lycett, Hamish Hartlett and 150-gamer Charlie Dixon, while fellow Victorians Ollie Wines and Xavier Duursma were also put in the hot seat.

But the through-line in all the interviews was the players’ love of the Port Adelaide faithful after the club locked in two home finals in front of fans after its round 17 win.

Trainers Leon and Troy Corstens are celebrating once more, with their three-year-old filly Succeed Indeed finally tasting success in its maiden win at Sandown last Wednesday.
In her third career start, Succeed Indeed, ridden by Lachlan King, took out the second race on the card – the $50,000 IVE Print Handicap BM70 over 1600 m – by a length and a half.
