Knives allegedly involved in teen altercation

The group fled on police arrival, police said.

The alleged victim, a 14-year-old boy, was not injured and did not make a statement, police said.

Following extensive patrols of the area, officers arrested a 14-year-old boy and 15-year-old boy in parkland off Parkside Dve.

The pair were released pending further inquiries.

Police seized two knives that had been dumped nearby.
