The 12 year-old was not the only multiple trophy winner, but claimed the most by one person.
Lily claimed the Kay Oldham Memorial Trophy awarded for the most outstanding junior needlework exhibit and the Frances Langman Memorial Trophy – name after her great-grandmother - which is for most outstanding exhibit in junior floral art.
As a result of her success in these sections, and others, Lily also received the Metcalfe Family Trophy.
This is an aggregate award for the most successful junior exhibitor over all sections.
Winning the trophy in her great-grandmother’s name was not the only family connection for Lily on show weekend, with her sister Alice and grandmother Lyn Rose also among the trophy winners.
