Shearers from across the district made their way to Memorial Park to test their skills against others in the industry.
A few competitors who have had success in previous years found themselves on the podium again in 2024.
Local shearer Grant Lundie improved on his 2023 attempts in the open section.
Finishing third last year, Lundie found himself with the red ribbon for second place this year.
Last year’s open winner, Jake McArdle, also a local shearer, did not come away with an open placing this year but did claim the broad ribbon in the seniors.
Female shearer Marnie Ross also improved her performance in the intermediate competition, moving from fourth in 2023 to second this year.
