This week sees the start of volunteer’s week as we acknowledged how they contribute to Benalla’s Auskick program.

Auskick has a large number of volunteers, from the committee of the Benalla and District Junior Football League, to canteen coordinators and helpers, the coordinators of Auskick, and the loyal coaches who not only build the skills of the junior footballers, but also their social and emotional skills.
Sport is a wonderful avenue to help bridge differences and develop positive relationships which is all fostered by the coaches and helpers working with the players each week.
Auskickers of the week:
5/6s: Ava Ward, who shows the true spirit of Auskick — she tries her hardest every time, always wants to be better and loves being with her teammates.
7/8s: Georgia Trethowan, who arrives early every week, loves to play with her team and is always trying.
9/10s: William Keen, who loves his footy, keeps trying and smiling every week and shows great sportsmanship.
