Max Allen, international wine consultant, author, and entertaining speaker will be special guest at a three-course luncheon at the Lakeside Community Centre in November.
An Friends spokesperson said it would be a time to enjoy a pleasant Sunday afternoon with friends.
“The Friends of Benalla Art Gallery is an active social group, which provides important support for the gallery by fundraising and assisting with specific projects,” the spokesperson said.
“It is overseen by a committee and meets monthly, and funds raised have contributed to the gallery in many ways.
“Which includes enabling the acquisition of specific artworks; funding previous prize exhibitions; and contributing towards solar panels and water harvesting technology to improve the gallery’s sustainability.
Lunch with Max Allen will be held on Sunday, November 7, between 12pm and 3pm.
