NCN Health, in conjunction with Many Mobs Indigenous Corporation, will be celebrating NAIDOC week with a special event on July 13.
Several local schools will be attending and community members are encouraged to join them at Federation Park to mark the occasion.
The celebration will kick off with a traditional welcome to country, followed by performances from the Many Mobs Indigenous Corporation.
The program will also include yarning circles, painting and traditional weaving workshops, informative health sessions and the crowd-favourite, NCN Health's Smoothie Bike.
The aim of this NAIDOC week event is to foster community engagement with First Nations people through connection and the sharing of stories.
The day begins at 11:30am, with a barbecue lunch served from 12pm.
