Committee president Andrew Lavis said the concept of the shed was to provide much-needed storage space, but also to provide a facility for outdoor events.
"The committee and community was very grateful, firstly to Benalla Rural City Council for providing the funding of a community grant,“ Mr Lavis said.
“The shed was constructed by Mancave Sheds of Benalla, whose added contribution was significant.

“Further to this, Middy’s of Benalla donated the electrical components for the project, which was generously installed by RK Regional Electrical Contractors of Lima.
“The Renkin family, from Lima, offered to do the trenching necessary to connect the power.
“The committee would like to acknowledge the support of all those involved to complete this wonderful community project.”
Mr Lavis said the added facility provided the Moorngag Recreation Reserve with a great deal of flexibility for hosting a variety of events in the future.
“I am looking forward to the sensational Moorngag Mower Mania event, which will again be held on October 29, 2022 — for the fourth year,” he said.
“The completion of the shed has coincided with upgrades to the facility, which includes a new modern kitchen, heating and cooling, repainting and the installation of solar.”
