Pepper wins March championship

Late last month, the March round of the Benalla Croquet Club Championship was won by Tom Pepper.

Tom has been a member of the Benalla Club for the past 12 months following his move to live in the area from Coleraine.

It was a good day for croquet, with the ideal weather making playing on the courts a joy for competitors.

This Saturday two Benalla Croquet Club players are part of the team representing NEDCA at the Regional Golf Croquet Championships to be held at the Victorian Croquet Centre.

Geoff Bath will be playing in Division 2 and Christine Dackham Blay will be playing in Division 3.

On April 24, Benalla Croquet Club will be hosting the NEDCA Golf and Association Social Day.

This event is open to all players who play with clubs under the North East District Croquet Association.

If you have an interest in croquet, or just wish to watch the game being played, Benalla Croquet holds club days each Tuesday and Thursday mornings starting at 9am for a 9.30am start.
