A man was shot in Benalla on Monday, August 14.
Detectives from the Armed Crime Squad are investigating following the incident in Ballintine St.
Emergency services were called to a Benalla West address following reports a man had been found with a gunshot wound to the lower body about 6am on Monday, August 14.
The 28-year-old Benalla man was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The circumstances surrounding the incident are yet to be determined and the investigation is ongoing.
