No, the Ute Muster action is not starting early. It will be the rumbling sounds of tractors, classic cars and stationary engines echoing out from the Spring Rally at Deniliquin Memorial Park.
The annual event from the Deniliquin Collector’s Club will run over Saturday and Sunday.
And best of all, there’s no entry fee for spectators.
Gates open at 8am both days, and you can expect to see a diverse display of tractors, hot rods, classic and custom cars, motorcycles, stationary engines and vintage caravans, all lovingly restored and maintained by passionate owners.
Inside the pavilion, a fascinating collection of memorabilia and private collections will provide plenty of opportunities to step back in time and explore Australia's rich motoring and agricultural heritage.
This year's rally will place a special focus on Ferguson and British Motor Corporation (BMC) vehicles and machinery.
Ferguson tractors and BMC cars - including popular brands such as Morris, Austin and Mini - played a significant role in rural and urban Australia throughout the 20th century, and many examples are expected to be on display throughout the weekend.
A key highlights of the weekend will be the Tractor Trek, which sets off from Memorial Park at 9am Saturday.
Tractor owners will head out to the Tuppal region, first parading through the CBD and north Deniliquin before traversing some back roads. They will return to Memorial Park after a lunch stop.
The other feature event is the Show n Shine, which will be held Saturday this year due to another car show in the region on Sunday.
It gives vehicle owners the chance to showcase their pride and joy while competing for a range of awards.
Entrants are asked to arrive about 9am, with entries registered on the day.
