The creations of local artisans will be on display at the Peppin Heritage Centre Gallery later this week for the return of the Sculpture Muster.

Exhibited at the Peppin Heritage Centre - inside the gallery and in its outdoor spaces - the art project is timed to coincide with the Deniliquin Ute Muster, but will remain on display until October 19.
This year it will also incorporate entries from the inaugural Anthony Breslin Art Prize - a youth competition honouring the legacy of the late Anthony Breslin.
Artists contributing to the Sculpture Muster will include Stuart Taylor, David St Leon, Peter Murray, Miro Peterman, Yarkuwa Indigenous Knowledge Centre, Sonya Robinson and Rachel Braybon.
This much-loved exhibition transforms the Peppin Heritage Centre Gallery into a celebration of form, texture, and imagination — featuring captivating sculptural works from talented artisans.
The art prize in Mr Breslin’s name is intended to commemorate his passionate advocacy for creativity and community.
At the time of his death earlier this year, Mr Breslin was creating a mural for the Deni Ute Muster site.
Young locals artists were assisting with the process.
The art prize was conceived by his long-time friend Tara Strong, and is presented in partnership with the Deni Ute Muster.
There are two entry categories: 8-12 years and 13-18 years.

She said the prize has added a new element to the Sculpture Muster this year, and described the entries she has seen so far as “pretty amazing”.
“There’s everything from surrealist to realist to abstract artwork.
“We’ve had kids from all age groups across both categories, and importantly, it has been so much fun.”
The online application deadline for the Anthony Breslin Art Prize has been extended to today, with artwork needing to be delivered to the Peppin Heritage Centre by this Thursday.
Winners (including a People’s Choice Award) will receive generous prizes.
