The two-person partnership, made up of Ian Souter and Ross Coombs, specialises in all operations of farm pumps, including installation, repair and maintenance — but they don’t stop there.
Petrol and diesel engine service and repairs, effluent pumps and bore maintenance are among the pair’s other areas of expertise.
“We started in 2007, between the two of us we go around to local farms and provide services,” Ian said.
“We do farm maintenance, sell pumps as well as other parts, service quad bikes, self-service and repair water pumps.”
For Ian, the small-business aspect is desirable for community members such as himself.
“Our customers know that when they choose us they’re dealing with us as the owners and the workers,” Ian said.
“It’s not like these big companies where you call and speak to one person, then get passed on to another and another.
“Part of what makes us so reliable is that we are small traders; you get closer, more personal relationships with customers.”
