Children from the four-year-old program at the Violet Town Kindergarten, and students at Peranbin Primary College’s Violet Town Campus, had an opportunity to be involved in fabulous Easter activities.
A Peranbin Primary College spokesperson said that Easter bonnets, art projects and a giant Easter egg hunt ensured there was joy and fun for all involved.
“This marks the start of a new community project, linking Violet Town Kindergarten and Peranbin Primary College, aptly named Sharing the Future,” the spokesperson said
Spearheaded by educators Monique Ringin and Mel Delaney, this exciting new venture aims to build community connections among families, while providing children with multi-age learning opportunities.
The two teams will be working closely this year, participating in a variety of activities, including Book Week, nature learning, library and art sessions, a colour fun run and Christmas celebrations.
“Blending the learning of kindergarten and primary school students will also prepare little ones for ‘big school’ in the future,” the spokesperson said.
