St Joseph’s Church is set to hold a series of inquiry meetings in the Parish House at 42 Arundel St, Benalla, on Saturday, July 8, from 10.30am to 11.30am for anyone who is interested in the Catholic faith.
The meetings will focus on the “Concepts of God,” and the question of “What is calling you to the Catholic faith?”
Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults’ member Cathy Duncombe says that the meetings are for a wide range of people.
“It’s for people who want to learn more about the Catholic faith and provide them with guidance and support,” Ms Duncombe said.
“There is no target audience, the ideal outcome for the church is to make it a more vibrant and accepting place to be.
“To attend the meetings you don’t have to want to become a Catholic, you can just have an interest in the faith.
“The meetings are also for people who would like to reconnect with the Catholic faith.”
Anyone interested in becoming Catholic or would like to know more about the faith and its traditions can attend the meetings or contact staff at St Joseph’s Parish House by email benalla@cdos.org.au
Suitable times and dates for future meetings will be decided at the initial meeting on July 8.
