Thoona CFA honours long-serving members

A Thoona CFA spokesperson said in all, the members honoured, some of whom could not attend, had given more than 420 years of service to the CFA.

“Also on the night (we gave) a thank you to Tony Rak for being the captain of the Thoona Fire Brigade for 23 years,” the spokesperson said.

“(He has now) stood down and will be passing on the reins to someone else.

“The brigade thanks (you) Tony for all (your) hard work and dedicated service to the Thoona fire brigade and CFA.”
