Toc Telstra outage next week

Landline services, NBN and satellite internet services, and mobile coverage from other providers are not expected to be impacted.

The site will be switched off during specific periods, including a four day block from Monday, December 8 to Thursday, December 11.

On Friday, December 12, intermittent interruptions will occur during daytime hours.

Any calls to 000 from a Telstra mobile when the site is offline will automatically connect to another mobile network if available for emergency services connection.

Telstra customers can continue making calls and sending texts during service disruption by switching on Wi-Fi Calling.

This free setting on most popular mobile phones allows mobiles to make and receive calls while connected to Wi-Fi.

Business owners are encouraged to connect their EFTPOS terminals to NBN or Wi-Fi connections to prevent transaction processing delays.
