Kyabram Project Committee members have again been left to clean up the Kyabram mural picnic area at the old railway station precinct following another incident of vandalism.

Kyabram police Leading Senior Constable Russell Locke said an investigation was ongoing into a “group of youths” that damaged the area at 3pm on Tuesday, May 26.
Vandals damaged a plaque located in the undercover area, causing damage valued at about $200.
Committee members reported the vandalism to police, and supplied officers with CCTV footage.
A plaque on a table in the undercover area was damaged.
Committee member Allan Weeks also discovered the visitors’ book’s stand bent, along with litter scattered across the grounds and a table hanging over the fence.
Sen Constable Locke confirmed two people had been identified, but anyone with additional information or who noticed suspicious activity at the picnic area should contact Kyabram police on 5853 1777.
