Where to vote early for Voice referendum

Here we go: Joan Smith dropped her vote into the Seymour Town Hall Supper Room ballot box on Saturday May 27, 1967. The ‘yes’ vote in the 1967 referendum received an overwhelming majority with 1855 votes in Seymour, while ‘no received 154, with 38 informal votes. Figures at the High School booth were about the same percentages.

Early voting in the upcoming Voice to Parliament referendum opens on Monday, October 2, at the Masonic Lodge 25 Anzac Ave, Seymour.
