This all-ages event promises an unforgettable experience for Benalla’s music enthusiasts.
Winners of the north-east Grand Final will not only take home a cash prize but also have the chance to perform at the Melbourne Moomba Festival, providing a unique opportunity to further their musical careers.
Benalla Mayor Danny Claridge said he couldn’t wait for the event,
“The Grand Final of the Battle of the Bands serves as a remarkable display of the musical talent among the region’s youth,” Cr Claridge said.
“We take great pride in hosting this event in Benalla, highlighting the vibrant and diverse community that characterises both Benalla and the broader north-east Victoria.”
Talent from the region have been battling it out in heats for months, and the grand final will feature the best of the best.
Among the headlining acts are The Dunners, Jackson Quilty, Filthy Rocks, Madoja, Ella Crathern, Judah Kelleher, Blue Curtain, Mieke Bosland, Samara Bright, Clean Coil, Dylan Cosgriff & The Omens, and Maya Humphreys.
“It’s inspiring to witness the dedication and passion these young musicians bring to the stage,” Cr Claridge said.
“The battle of the bands north-east grand final is a platform for them to showcase their talent and connect with the community.”
Headlining the event is the dynamic four-piece alt-rock band DICE, journeying all the way from Perth to bring their infectious good vibes to the grand final stage.

The Battle of the Bands grand final takes place at The Shed, 126 Bridge St East, Benalla from 3pm - 9pm on Saturday, January 20.
