Almost 30 signed up for last week’s day trip to Wagga Wagga, which started with paintball at Project Paintball Wagga, followed by lunch and a friendly game of bowling at Wagga Bowl.
A council spokesperson said youth from across the council footprint took part, and had an “absolute blast”.
“We had around 27 young people, as well as supporting volunteers to help make the event run as successfully as possible,” the spokesperson said.
“All in all, it was a great trip.
“The paintball course was a great experience and there was lots of friendly rivalry at ten-pin bowling.”
The Youth Week program also included a Read the Play activity in Jerilderie last week, at which youths aged 14 to 18 could get involved in trivia, games, prizes and fun.
The final activity is a skate workshop in Darlington Point from 11am today. Registrations for the workshop have already closed.
The Youth Week program has been funded by Murrumbidgee Council and the NSW Government, which has made each activity free.
