On top of the pain and fear, she's come up against dismissive medical professionals, suffered financial strain and had people tell her the condition is nothing more than bad period pain.
During Endometriosis Awareness Month (March), she wants to spread the word about what it really is and what those with the condition go through.
She joined News senior journalist Bree Harding in the podcast studio to tell her story.
