A driver has fled the scene after crashing a car into sports clubs’ portable change rooms at Princess Park in Shepparton on Monday, September 7.

Police were called to the scene shortly before 7.20am after a red Peugeot crashed into the side of the building.
They said the driver, who was wearing a black hoodie and red shorts, left the scene.
Shepparton Youth Club United Cricket Club president Steve Nash said the damage would affect the club’s preparations for the season.
“This is shattering for us,” he said.
“It’s going to have an impact on getting prepared for the season.
“We were just starting to look at getting the room set up.”
Mr Nash said the club was still waiting to determine the extent of the damage and how long the rooms would be unavailable.
“I’m not sure how long it’ll be out of action,” he said.
The AFL loaned the portable change rooms to the cricket club and Shepparton Swans Football Netball Club following the October 2022 floods.
“We look after those rooms, so seeing the damage is disappointing,” Mr Nash said.
Shepparton Swans president Jarrod Sutherland said the rooms had played an important role for both clubs since the floods, as the facilities allowed them to continue playing at Princess Park.
“As a club, we are disappointed,” Mr Sutherland said.
The damaged change room has since been boarded up.
