Two people were stabbed in Shepparton on Friday, August 1.
Police said it was understood the two men were stabbed by a third man, who was unknown to the pair, outside a business on the corner of High St and St George's Rd about 8.45pm.
The offender fled the scene, police said.
The two men, aged 18 and 23, were taken to Goulburn Valley Health by ambulance in stable conditions with non-life-threatening injuries.
An Ambulance Victoria spokesperson said the younger man was treated for a lower body injury, while the older one suffered an upper body injury.
Police are investigating reports the two victims, who are known to one another, were involved in an argument with the offender at an address on St George’s Rd before the stabbing.
The police investigation is ongoing.
