Significant rainfall across the Goulburn River catchment on Sunday resulted in river level rises and areas of minor to moderate flooding at Shepparton, Mooroopna and Kialla along the Goulburn and Broken Rivers and the Seven Creeks.
The Goulburn River at McCoys Bridge was at 6.91 metres and rising, below the minor flood level on Thursday.
The Goulburn River at McCoys Bridge may reach around the minor flood level (9.00 metres) during Saturday.
What you should do:
People living or camping on the Goulburn River between Shepparton and Kanyapella should expect river level rises on Friday and Saturday as floodwater arrives from Shepparton.
Farmers should consider moving livestock and machinery from along the river to higher ground.
Be prepared to act if your situation changes.
