E-series experience a first for Best

A tough learning curve awaited Benalla driver Zak Best in round 10 of the Supercars All Star E-Series last week.

Joining the virtual competition as a Super2 wildcard for its final round, Best's first test was Oran Park in Sydney, in which he started in 16th.

After getting caught up in a crash at turn one though, Best was playing catch up all race before finishing in 19th place.

Best set to return to Super2 hot seat

Looking to redeem himself in race two, Best started in 14th at the iconic Mount Panorama Circuit in Bathurst.

Learning from the mistakes of race one, Best avoided a crash ahead of him at turn one, before powering on to finish a strong seventh.

Best will now look towards the second round of the Super2 Series, which resumes next month at Winton Motor Raceway.
