Facing Rochester in the final, the Breakers held on for a six-point victory, with Hayleigh Frost shooting 12 points to hammer home the result.
The Breakers’ latest success makes it back-to-back grand final wins for the team, who also took out the last tournament it played in - a home event at Benalla - last year.
Starting the weekend in Bendigo with a bitter one-point loss to Rochester on Saturday, coach Tony Long said the result turned into a “mini meltdown” for Benalla, with the team also losing its regular game to Echuca to finish third heading into the finals.

But the Breakers soon found its mojo again in time for the semi-finals, turning its earlier defeat to Echuca into an 11-point victory to set up the grand final rematch with Rochester.
Long said the Breakers’ winning weekend took “a full team effort by all” to get over the line.
“We had some great shooting by (Mikayla) Cole and (Lilly) Armstrong in the semi-final and tough work under the basket by (Molly) Glazebrook and (Sophie) Boyle,” he said.
“There was some great defensive play from (Alyssa) Lindrea and finally some great leadership in the end by Frost, Tayissa Gray and Maddy Gray supporting us through the weekend.”
Long’s under-16 girls team also travelled to Bendigo, with the side unable to break through for a win in division two.
