In round 10 the Taipans’ Michelle Feldtmann and Sathya Kancharla were too strong for the Wallabies, winning 5-0 in convincing fashion.
Owls triumphed over the gallant Plovers with a 3-2 victory. Stephen Lane won a singles and then teamed with Carol Perry to win a close doubles match.
Kookaburras Brian Harrington and Matt Parkinson scored a gutsy 3-2 victory over Possums in a hard-fought match. Mick Kelly was the star, winning both singles in great display for Possums.
Echidnas John Bajada and Chris Lee continued on their winning way with a 3-2 victory over Rosellas.
B-grade
Wombats defeated Numbats 3-1. Lois Hermiston won a singles and the doubles for Wombats while Bill Sharp also won a singles for Numbats.
Eagles had a convincing 5-0 victory. John Spencer and Elliot McCallum outclassed Frogs.
Mozzies defeated Gliders 5-0. Sam Kancharla and Heather Crawford were too strong for their opponents.
C-grade
Doves won a close 3-2 match against Falcons.
Peter Myers won both singles and the doubles with Ann Degan who was unlucky in losing her singles matches.
Hawks were too talented for Koalas, winning 4-1. Colin McFarlane won both singles and the doubles with Val Kipping, who won one match.
