While the All Black Reserves’ win over Donnie Doon capped off an excellent weekend for the Benalla club, there were several other teams in action.

The B-reserve girls recorded a comprehensive 55-to-36-goal win over Bright after the team started quickly and produced a noteworthy third quarter, holding their opposition to five goals while scoring 14 themselves.

Milawa will be the B-reserve’s opposition in the preliminary final.
In B-grade, the All Blacks came up short in their qualifying final against Milawa.
The Panthers trailed by a fine margin at the end of every quarter but could not get over the line as the game finished 54 to 51 in Milawa’s favour.
The outfit will play Bonnie Doon for a place in the decider on Saturday at Tarrawingee.
The Panthers C-grade and under-15 sides’ seasons ended as Greta and Whorouly defeated the All Blacks by slim margins.
