Mulwala’s Owen Conway, Moama’s Tobias Thoolen and Congupna’s Bryden Squire rounded out the top five.
Meanwhile, Rumbalara’s Jessie Barnes-Hill notched a third MNL A-grade best-and-fairest to match her Goulburn Valley League Wellman Medal tally.
The lethal shooter made it back-to-back league honours after claiming the medal last season, polling 35 votes to trump Mulwala’s Steph Hammond by five.
Barnes-Hill also clinched the merit in 2016 before snaring a trio of GVL-equivalent medals, making her one of the region’s most decorated netballers in recent history.
Numurkah’s Laura Ryan, Moama’s Abby Larkin and Nathalia’s Tegan Sutton finished Sunday’s count third, fourth and fifth respectively.
In other major awards, Congupna’s Kyle Mueller had his name engraved on the Les Mogg Cup for the seniors’ leading goal kicker, booting 93 majors with a chance to ton up in this weekend’s grand final.
Cobram’s Daniel Ellis took out the reserves’ best-and-fairest with 28 votes, while Moama’s Bodhi Teasdale-Dohnt topped the under-17s count and Cobram’s Oliver Benson and Deniliquin’s Logan Elphick shared the under-14 honour.
Echuca United’s Matthew Lias and Hammond were crowned the football and netball most valuable players, while Numurkah’s Harry Hopkins and Echuca United’s Diaz Agg were named rising stars.
