On January 16, 30 people ran, jogged and walked the course, of whom five were first timers. Representatives of three different clubs took part.
That weekend was also headlined by wedding celebrations, with regular park runners Bre Kent and James Carboon celebrating their wedding with the parkrun community ahead of the big day.
Carboon capped off a special day with a first-placed finish, with a time of 20:36.
He was closely followed by Josh Rankin, who finished with a time of 21:40.
In third-place was Paul Tait from Lalor Running Club in the 50-54 years age group.
First place in the female category was Kent, who flew to the finish lie with veil and bouquet, recording a time of 24:01.
The event was made possible by nine volunteers: Lee Horan, Deb Robinson, Mal Webster, Diana Hobby, David Horan, Pat Menzies, Amanda Edgar, Graeme Edgar and Bethany Marshall.
