It consisted of three games of 12 ends on Saturday and two games 12 ends on Sunday.
They were followed by the seven section winners along with the best loser of all sections.
This year the club was one green down due to the rehabilitation of Green A.
Therefore there was a reduced capacity of 42 teams.
A club spokesperson said thank you to Graeme Greene and his assistants who put the tournament together.
“(Even with) last-minute changes he was able, with the help of tireless volunteers and umpires, to pull off a wonderful bowling experience for the participants who all vowed to return next January,” the spokesperson said.
“After a barbecue lunch on Sunday we witnessed some great section winners play off over five ends.
“The final, also over five ends, saw exhilarating bowling with the future of Victorian bowling on show.
“The father and son pairing David and Jacob Cartwright were against accomplished youngsters in Koby Cromie and Charlie Boswood.
“The Cartwrights got a five on the first end... and after great attempts by Koby and Charlie to get back in the contest, the Cartwright combination was resilient to win a classic final 7-3.
“A Calcutta was conducted on Friday (January 2) evening, creating extra interest, so big thanks to organisers.
“On club championships, the open 21-up and 100-up entries are now complete and draws will be posted soon.”
Organised training on Thursdays will be held at 7pm during summer with weekend pennant resuming on January 17.
