Today Wednesday, November 10 is a stableford event and Saturday, November 13 is a stroke event. Wednesday, November 17 is a two-person Ambrose event in support of Pink Lady fundraising, so wear something pink.
RESULTS: November 3
On Wednesday, November 3, 56 players competed in a stableford event.
The best score of the day, 44 points, was had by both Dean Milligan (a visitor) and Graeme Budd, in C-grade with Dean being declared the winner on a countback. In A-grade the winner was Robin Close with 38 points from runner-up Ian Wise, 36 points on a countback. In B-grade Paul Hazell was the winner with 42 points and runner-up Paul Hooper with 41 points.

RESULTS: November 6
Last Saturday, November 6, saw 86 players compete in a stroke event, the Monthly Medal, sponsored by Ray White Benalla.
The best score of the day, 37 net, was had by C-grade players Eddie Arendt and Bret Dosser. After a countback Eddie was declared the Monthly Medal winner with Bret the runner-up. In A-grade the winner was Steve Thomas, 69 net, on a countback from runner-up Hamish Pearce, also 69 net. In B-grade the winner was Damien Cocks 70 net, on a countback from runner-up Geoff Dalton also 70 net.
The best scratch score of the day was Dan Symes with 71 “off the stick”.

Women’s golf
The 27-hole foursomes championships were played on Thursday, November 4.
The 27-hole scratch winners were Marsha Watson and Anne Thomson with 134 gross.
Runners-up were Sally Sykes and Sue Oakley with 135 gross.
Winners of the 27-hole handicap were J. Baker and L. Tallis with 110¼ net.
The 18-hole handicap was won by C. Ogden and M. Felmingham with 72½ net.
Ball competition B. Lang and S. Noble 110¾, A. Brown and J. Rubira 113¼, G. Morton and R. Foletta 114¾.

On Saturday, November 6, a stableford was played with 23 players.
Division 1 winner was Liz Tallis with 40 points and Lindy Wrest won Division 2 with 38 points.
Ball went to C. Garratt 38, H. Hyland 38, L. Mason 36, S. Sykes 36, N. Cavedon 36.
