Benalla Hockey Club
Summer Hockey 5s continues
Benalla’s new format — Summer Hockey 5s — is finally attracting some lovely weather, with yellow and orange teams playing fun games each week.
With free fruit from Coles and a barbecue most weeks, it’s a great family environment to have a run around and try something new at Churchill Reserve on a Thursday evening.
With only two more weeks to go, this week on Thursday, December 1, Benalla Hockey Club will hold the term three Hook in2 Hockey junior presentations at 5.15pm with a barbecue, then a skills refresher from 5.40, then start the Hockey 5s games from 6 to 7pm.
New people are always welcome, aged 10 to 100 for summer hockey now, with the full junior Hook In2 Hockey program starting on March 2. Equipment is available and the first few weeks are free to come and try.
